Financial Incentives

Trading Credit & Incentive Programme Terms

How Gidipex awards trading credit, how the fee gate and protected credit floor work, when overflow can be withdrawn, and your rights as a participant.

Last updated July 3, 2026

Purpose of This Notice

This notice describes how Gidipex Limited (RC 9417224) — operator of the Gidipex platform — runs its financial incentive programmes: trading credit awarded as contest prizes, signup bonuses, referral rewards, and promotional grants.

It explains how those incentives work, what trading credit is, what users can and cannot do with it, and how participation interacts with personal information collected under the Gidipex Privacy Policy.

This notice forms part of the Gidipex Terms of Service. It applies in addition to the rules set out in those Terms and to any specific rules published for an individual contest, campaign, or promotion.

Programmes Covered

This notice covers four programmes through which Gidipex may award trading credit:

Contest prizes — credit awarded to top-ranked participants at the close of a Gidipex trading competition, in line with that contest’s published prize structure.

Signup bonus — credit awarded after a user completes identity verification, where Gidipex is running a signup offer.

Referral rewards — credit awarded when a user introduces another user who completes verification and qualifying activity. This includes the partner-referrer milestone programme described below.

Promotional credit — credit awarded under specific, time-bounded marketing campaigns, governed by that campaign’s published rules in addition to this notice.

Partner Referral Milestones

Gidipex operates an invite-only partner-referrer programme alongside the standard referral rewards. Partners are users Gidipex has expressly enrolled to refer new users; enrolment is at Gidipex’s discretion and may be revoked at any time without notice for breach of the Terms of Service or the partner agreement.

Under the partner programme, a new user (the referee) may be granted a welcome trading credit at one or more onboarding milestones — typically: completing identity verification, making a first deposit, and completing a first qualifying trade. The amount, milestone schedule, and eligibility are set per campaign and published to the partner; the campaign’s rules form part of these terms when the credit is granted.

Some campaigns are configured so that the partner-referrer also receives a per-conversion trading credit when their referee crosses a milestone (a "both-sides" campaign). Other campaigns reward only the referee. The campaign in force at the time the milestone is crossed determines which model applies; Gidipex will not retroactively change the model for already-issued grants.

Anti-abuse: a referee must have signed up within a window of time published in the campaign rules for the milestone to qualify. Gidipex applies per-partner and programme-wide caps to limit concentration risk and prevent farming. Where Gidipex identifies abuse, multi-accounting, sanctions risk, or breach of the partner agreement, both the campaign and individual grants may be cancelled in line with the cancellation provisions in this notice.

All credit issued through this programme is non-withdrawable trading credit subject to the same fee gate, loss priority, expiry, non-transferability, and cancellation rules described in the Material Terms above. The partner relationship does not change the nature of the credit or the rules governing it.

Privacy: Gidipex never identifies the referee to the referrer. Partner-side notifications confirm only the milestone reached and the bonus amount; the referee’s identity, contact details, and onboarding details remain confidential.

What Trading Credit Is

Trading credit is denominated in USDT and credited as real value to a separate, non-withdrawable balance inside the user’s Gidipex wallet.

The credit functions as real margin in real futures positions on Gidipex. Profits and losses on positions opened against credit are real, not simulated. The credit balance itself cannot be withdrawn from the platform. Only value above the protected credit floor can become withdrawable, and only after the fee gate and any open-position margin requirements are satisfied.

Trading credit remains a real obligation of Gidipex Limited until consumed in trading, expired, or cancelled in line with this notice. Trading credit is not redeemable for cash and is not converted to a withdrawable balance by Gidipex. If trading losses reduce the amount supporting an active grant, later gains first restore the protected credit floor before any overflow can be withdrawn or transferred out.

The Fee Gate, Explained

The fee gate is one condition between the profit you make with trading credit and your ability to withdraw it. It does not reduce your profit and it does not charge you anything beyond the normal trading fees you already pay. The protected credit floor described in the Material Terms below must also remain covered while a grant is active.

When Gidipex grants you trading credit, we attach a fee gate equal to a percentage of that credit. On most grants the rate is ten percent (10%). Some promotions set it higher, and that programme’s rules state the exact rate.

You clear the gate simply by trading. There is nothing separate to pay. The fees that count towards the gate are the qualifying futures fees you pay from your own deposited balance. These are the ordinary entry and exit fees charged on your futures orders, and they accumulate until the total reaches the gate amount. Fees paid from the trading credit itself do not count towards the gate.

Profit you realise is tracked straight away, but it stays locked until the fees you have paid reach the gate amount and your active credit floor remains covered. Once both conditions are met, only the overflow above the protected floor can be withdrawn like any other eligible balance.

Worked example: you receive 100 USDT in trading credit with a 10% fee gate, so the gate is 10 USDT. You trade the credit, realise 40 USDT in profit, and along the way pay 10 USDT in qualifying futures fees from your own deposited balance. If your futures wallet still covers the 100 USDT protected floor and any open-position margin, the 40 USDT overflow is available to withdraw. If only 6 USDT of those fees came from your own deposited balance, 4 USDT of the gate would remain before the profit unlocks.

The gate exists so that credit is used for genuine trading rather than claimed and immediately extracted. It is not a cap on profit, not a refund, and not an extra charge. Your trading-credit page shows the exact gate amount for each grant and how much of it you have cleared.

Material Terms

Use restricted to futures: trading credit may only be used as margin for futures contracts on Gidipex. It cannot be used for spot trading, peer-to-peer trading, withdrawals, transfers, or any non-trading purpose.

Fee gate: realised profits from positions opened with credit margin become eligible for withdrawal only after the user has paid qualifying futures trading fees totalling at least ten percent (10%) of the credit amount granted and the protected credit floor remains covered. Only fees paid from the user’s own deposited balance count towards this total; fees paid from trading credit do not count. The fee gate exists to prevent bonus extraction without genuine platform usage; it does not cap profits and is not a refund mechanism. The percentage may be set higher for specific programmes; that programme’s rules will state the rate explicitly.

Protected credit floor: while a grant remains active, the user must keep enough futures-wallet value to cover the original amount of that grant, plus any margin needed for open positions. The original grant amount is the floor even if market losses have reduced the current grant balance. Users may transfer or withdraw only the overflow above that protected floor. If the account falls below the floor, later gains first restore the floor before becoming withdrawable.

Loss priority: where a user holds both their own funds and trading credit in the futures wallet at the same time, losses on positions are debited from the user’s own funds first; credit is debited only after the user’s own funds in the relevant wallet are exhausted. Credit does not subsidise the user’s own risk.

Expiry: credit expires twelve (12) months from the date of grant unless the specific programme rules state a different period. Unused credit at expiry is cancelled and is not redeemable.

One active grant per source per identity: a verified identity may hold at most one active grant per programme source at any time, except where a specific campaign expressly permits otherwise.

Non-transferable: credit cannot be transferred, sold, gifted, assigned, pledged, or used as collateral outside its intended use as futures margin on Gidipex.

Cancellation: Gidipex may cancel an outstanding grant where it identifies abuse, breach of the Terms of Service, sanctions risk, identity fraud, multi-accounting, or violation of the relevant programme rules.

How to Participate and How to Withdraw

Participation in any financial incentive programme is voluntary and is initiated by the user — by entering a contest, claiming a referral, redeeming a signup offer, or claiming a promotional grant under that campaign’s rules.

Joining a programme does not require the user to share any personal information beyond what Gidipex already collects under its standard onboarding, identity verification, and platform-use processes (set out in the Gidipex Privacy Policy).

A user may withdraw from a programme at any time by contacting [email protected]. Unrealised credit will be cancelled. Profits already realised, unlocked under the fee gate, outside the protected credit floor, and withdrawn are unaffected. Where a contest is in progress, withdrawal is subject to that contest’s published rules on mid-contest exit.

Personal Information and Data

Gidipex processes personal information under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and registers with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) where required. Detailed processing terms are set out in the Gidipex Privacy Policy.

Participation in a financial incentive programme does not unlock the collection of any new category of personal information. The categories described in the Privacy Policy — identity, contact, transaction, device, and platform-use data — apply unchanged.

Programme participation, like any platform activity, may be referenced in transaction records and audit logs for compliance, fraud prevention, and accounting purposes.

Why We Offer Incentives, and How They Relate to the Value of Personal Information

Gidipex offers financial incentives primarily to attract new users, reward existing users for engagement (such as competition performance or successful referrals), and encourage continued use of the platform.

Where regulators require an estimate of the relationship between incentive value and the value of a user’s personal information, Gidipex’s good-faith estimate is the expected lifetime trading-fee revenue from an active user, less the cost of acquiring and supporting that user. The aggregate cost of incentives offered does not exceed this expected value.

Method of calculation: Gidipex computes (i) average futures and spot trading volume per active user over a rolling twelve-month window, multiplied by the average platform fee rate, summed over the expected retention period of the user cohort, less (ii) average customer acquisition and support cost per user. This calculation is reviewed by Gidipex’s finance team on a quarterly basis and adjusted as cohort behaviour evolves.

This estimate exists to make the relationship between incentives offered and platform economics transparent. It is not a guarantee of revenue, of incentive value, or of any specific user outcome.

Fair Treatment and Non-Discrimination

A user who declines to participate in any financial incentive programme — whether by not entering a contest, not claiming a signup offer, not redeeming a referral, or not accepting a promotional grant — receives identical service, identical pricing, and identical access to all Gidipex platform features.

Eligibility for any specific programme may depend on identity verification status, jurisdiction, account standing, and the published rules of that programme. These eligibility criteria are conditions of participation in the specific offer; they are not penalties for declining to participate.

Risk Warnings

Trading on Gidipex involves significant financial risk. Futures trading in particular involves leverage; positions can result in losses greater than initial margin if not managed carefully.

Trading credit can be lost in full through unfavourable market movement. Credit is not protected from market risk. The fact that credit is not withdrawable does not mean it is risk-free — it means only that the user cannot remove the credit from the platform; the user can still lose it through trading outcomes.

Nothing in this notice or in any incentive programme constitutes investment advice, a forecast of returns, a guarantee of profit, or a recommendation to buy or sell any digital asset. Past performance, leaderboard rankings, and contest outcomes are not indicative of future results.

Users are responsible for their own trading decisions and for ensuring that participation in any incentive programme is appropriate for their financial circumstances.
